Astonishing new claim that survivors of Pete Hegseth's 'war crime' boat strike were 'waving before second attack'

The survivors of the US military's follow-up strike on 'narco-terrorists' were allegedly waving before the fatal second attack, according to new claims.

Pete Hegseth is under intense scrutiny over the September 2 attack after at least two people on the vessel allegedly filled with drug dealers were discovered to still have been alive following an initial strike.

As Hegseth faces growing allegations of war crimes, claims have surfaced that the survivors of the boat strike were 'waving' after the first attack, The New York Times first reported Friday.

The waves have been interpreted differently by those familiar with the footage, per the outlet.

There are those who believe the survivors were trying to call for the US aircraft above them to start a rescue - although it was not clear whether they had spotted the American plane, according to the report.

Others claimed the survivors might have been calling for other alleged drug traffickers to come save them.
