Vice Presidential Nominee JD Vance to Visit Peoria and Tucson on Tuesday

U.S. Senator and vice presidential nominee JD Vance (R-OH) will visit Peoria and Tucson for two events on Tuesday, October 22, the Trump campaign announced.

Vance will first visit Peoria at TYR Tactical where he will deliver remarks at 1:00PM MST.

In announcing Vance’s upcoming visit to Peoria, the Trump campaign touted former President Donald Trump and Vance’s plan to “reverse” the “damage” done to Arizona’s economy by the current Biden-Harris administration if elected in the November 5 general election.

“For nearly four years, the Harris-Biden administration has put unnecessary stress on Arizonans. Since Kamala Harris took office, Arizona households have paid nearly $6,000 more on energy, with little relief in sight. Instead of allowing families to save and support their communities, they are being forced to shoulder the consequences of Kamala’s disastrous economic policies,” the Trump campaign said.

Further noting how “prices have skyrocketed by over 20 percent, while real wages have declined, leaving hardworking Arizonans struggling to make ends meet,” the campaign said Trump and Vance’s plan to “eliminate taxes on Social Security, overtime, and tips” will offer “the financial lifeline Arizonans need.”

“President Trump has a proven track record of standing up for Arizona families. From boosting economic growth to lowering energy costs to securing the border, Trump has consistently prioritized the needs of everyday Arizonans. He’s the only leader capable of reversing the damage and bringing real change to Arizona,” the campaign added.

Following his remarks in Peoria, Vance will then travel to Tucson where he will hold a rally at the Pima County Fairgrounds at 4:30PM MST.
