There is no right more fundamental to the character and safety of our nation than the right to keep and bear arms. Our Founding Fathers understood that fact, which is why our Constitution ensures that it shall not be infringed.

The Second Amendment is under constant assault in Washington, state capitols, and the courts.  The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to the preservation of all of the freedoms protected by the Bill of Rights.  Today, the Second Amendment guarantees not only the right to own and use a gun for hunting and sport, but also to protect one’s self and one’s family. 
 
That’s why Dr. Kelli Ward will oppose any legislation that would undermine or compromise the Second Amendment while protecting all of our Constitutional liberties.
