Faith & Religious Freedom

“One Nation under God” is more than just a phrase we recite during our Pledge of Allegiance – it captures the very essence of who we are as Americans.

We must always be welcoming and tolerant of all peaceful religions and faiths. Our nation was founded on the idea that all people are created equal and have the right to worship and assemble without fear of persecution. Standing up for the rights of others to worship freely is something that America prides itself on and sets us apart as a shining city upon a hill.

Protecting religious symbols, references, or landmarks from being removed from the public domain for the sake of “political correctness” is also of great importance. These words and symbols play a significant role in educating future generations about our nation’s rich historical heritage.

The incredible charitable work done by religious institutions in America should also be utilized more to help address societal issues that are plaguing our nation, instead of expecting the federal government to solve every problem.

Whether it’s the rule of law, the sanctity of life, or the freedoms we treasure, our faith in and love of God sits at the heart of many of the blessings we enjoy in America. Our shared faith in one another, our nation, and in God is truly what makes America the greatest nation on earth.
