Rep. Adam Schiff to Reportedly Join Gallego Campaign for Arizona Event After Joint Hollywood Fundraiser

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA-30) will reportedly break from his California campaign for U.S. Senate to travel to Arizona for a joint campaign event held by Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ-03).

Schiff will reportedly travel to Arizona to help Democrats in tough elections, according to Punchbowl News. The newspaper reported on Monday that a person familiar with the Californian’s travel plans confirmed he plans to appear with Gallego.

The California Democrat is also reportedly planning to appear at campaign events for Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Jacky Rosen (D-NV), who both face challengers, but the Arizona campaign event was announced as Arizona polls appear to have tightened following the dominant debate performance by Gallego’s Republican opponent, Kari Lake.

Responding to Schiff’s purported plans to campaign with Gallego, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) declared Schiff an “anti-Trump, California radical.”

NRSC spokesman Tate Mitchell stated, “Adam Schiff ran the first sham impeachment trial against President Trump, and Ruben Gallego called Trump voters ‘dumb’ and the ‘worst people in the world.’ Gallego isn’t running to represent all Arizonans; he’s running to be a foot soldier for the radical left.”

Lake offered a similar response in a post to the social media platform X, where the Republican wrote, “Trump-hater [Schiff] joins Trump-hater [Gallego] to campaign against [Lake].”
