Internal Loudoun County School Board emails show a constantly changing explanation about how many school board members knew about a school sexual assault, with one member telling the school’s superintendent in wake of cover-up allegations that he may have “missed an email” informing him about it — even though he previously responded to that very email for further clarification and had allegedly just heard about the incident from somebody else, The Daily Wire reported.
“From my memory I recall” only learning about it “during the public comment process,” Democrat board member Harris Mahedavi wrote in an email to Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Ziegler on October 12th. This was just one day after The Daily Wire had revealed that a girl had been raped in a bathroom on May 28th and that the superintendent denied the event’s occurrence during a public board meeting on June 22nd.
As previously reported, Ziegler wrote to the school board members immediately following the rape in May saying, “The purpose of this email is to provide you with information regarding an incident that occurred at Stone Bridge HS. This afternoon a female student alleged that a male student sexually assaulted her in the restroom.”
