PHOENIX – Following President Trump's State of the Union address, in which he called for unity and bipartisan cooperation on issues such as border security, trade, drug prices, criminal justice reform, among others, Republican Party of Arizona Chairman Kelli Ward released the following statement:
"President Trump laid out an inspiring, patriotic, and optimistic vision for our country," said Chairman Kelli Ward. "No matter your political affiliation, all Americans can agree that more jobs, safer communities, less war, better trade policies, and the spread of freedom around the world is good for every nation and every person."
"His speech emphasized what we in Arizona have been combating for decades: increased danger from human trafficking and deadly drugs coming across the southern border. We join with President Trump and a majority of Americans who want to see immediate solutions from Congress in the next 10 days."
