Arizona GOP Rep. Andy Biggs says FBI allegations of attempting to develop undercover sources to infiltrate Catholic Church parishes are "shocking."
"I didn't think I could still be shocked after having been in Congress for a while," Biggs said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "This was one of the most shocking things that I've seen."
House Republicans announced earlier this week new allegations that the FBI has been trying to develop undercover sources inside Catholic Church parishes throughout the U.S. in search of radical elements within the religious faith. This comes just months after a recent FBI memo depicted Catholics as "violent extremists."
