Tempe, AZ – Dr. Kelli Ward, candidate for U.S. Senate in Arizona, released a new digital ad today urging elected representatives in Washington to reign in our government’s out-of-control spending, and take appropriate, necessary steps to reduce the national debt.
“Unlike hard-working American taxpayers, career bureaucrats in Washington do not seem to appreciate the value of the dollar,” said Ward. “For decades, we have seen many in Washington take irresponsible actions that have increased the size and scope of our federal government to a level that is simply unsustainable. As a result of all the spending, combined with slower economic growth than we should expect, is a federal debt of $20 trillion. Fundamental reforms are needed now more than ever. Now is the time to solve this problem – if we don’t correct it today, our children and grandchildren will pay a heavy price for our failure tomorrow.”
Ward’s “Lowering Debt” spot is the sixth in a series of digital ads that will be distributed digitally across Arizona via email and on all major social media platforms. To read more about Ward’s stance on reducing the national debt, click here.
Dr. Kelli Ward is the leading GOP candidate to replace retiring Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate in 2018. On Aug. 17, President Trump lent his support to Ward via Twitter. Ward has received endorsements from Sen. Rand Paul, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon and Mark Levin. Ward’s campaign enjoyed a surge of national and in-state support and visibility after announcing the addition of former Ronald Reagan campaign manager, Ed Rollins, to the position of campaign chairman.
