Tempe, AZ –In the wake of Tuesday’s shooting of an Arizona border patrol agent in Santa Cruz County, the Ward for Senate campaign today released its new digital ad, “Relentless,” highlighting Dr. Kelli Ward’s commitment to securing our border and protecting Arizonans from violent drug cartels and human traffickers.
In a statement, Eric Beach, chief strategist for the Ward campaign, said that Dr. Ward has the experience and the willpower to craft legislation that will fund President Trump’s border wall.
“Dr. Kelli Ward believes that national security begins with border security and that a nation unwilling to control its borders surrenders its sovereignty,” said Beach. “McSally and Sinema are two perfect examples of politicians who oppose building a wall and have displayed a shocking degree of fecklessness and incompetence when it comes to enforcing our immigration laws. In contrast, Dr. Ward is the only competent, qualified conservative in this race who will work tirelessly in the U.S. Senate to secure our border and build the wall.”
The ad targets Arizona Reps. Martha McSally and Kyrsten Sinema for their opposition to building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Rep. McSally has claimed walls do little to stop criminal organizations from crossing the border and said she was “proud” to vote for a $1.3 trillion spending bill that left out funding for a border wall, rejected the Trump administration’s request for additional ICE agents, and inexplicably provided funding to enhance the border security of foreign nations. Rep. Sinema has taken a similar approach, publicly saying that a wall “will not keep us safe” and that it is “not an effective way” to stop illegal immigration.
“Relentless” will be distributed digitally across Arizona and on all major social media platforms.

Dr. Kelli Ward is the leading GOP candidate to replace retiring Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate in 2018. On Aug. 17, President Trump encouraged Ward’s campaign via Twitter. Ward has received endorsements from several national conservative leaders including U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, U.S. Rep. Steve King, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Dr. Sebastian Gorka. Ward’s campaign has an unmatched grassroots network across Arizona and has continued to grow and expand national and in-state support.
