In the first of a new series of issue-based digital ads, Dr. Kelli Ward calls for meaningful tax reform and a long-term commitment to keeping rates low and competitive
Tempe, AZ – On the heels of President Trump’s tax reform speech in Pennsylvania, the campaign of Dr. Kelli Ward, candidate for U.S. Senate in Arizona, released a new digital ad that focuses on the need for comprehensive tax reform. The video highlights Ward’s view that Kennedy and Reagan style tax cuts are a vital step to creating new jobs and generating economic growth, as well as her desire to see the tax code reviewed regularly moving forward to keep rates low and competitive.
“I am a strong and committed advocate for lowering taxes and simplifying our tax code,” said Ward. “President Trump is on the right track – now we just need members of Congress to rally and get his tax reform passed,” said Dr. Ward. “The American people deserve elected leaders who are committed to keeping their campaign promises. Every Republican senator and congressperson promised at some point during their campaign that they would fix our broken tax code. Faced with a once-in-a-generation opportunity to improve the lives of all Americans, Congress must get act swiftly and get these needed tax reforms over the finish line.”
Ward’s tax reform spot is the first in an upcoming series of digital ads that will be distributed digitally across Arizona via email and on all major social media platforms. To read Ward’s full stance on tax reform, click here.
Dr. Kelli Ward is the only GOP candidate challenging Sen. Jeff Flake in his 2018 re-election bid in Arizona. On Aug. 17, President Trump lent his support to Ward via Twitter, personally naming her and encouraging the primary challenge of Sen. Flake, whom the President has referred to as "toxic." Ward’s campaign enjoyed a surge of national and in-state support and visibility after announcing the addition of two top operatives from the largest Pro-Trump super PAC, and a $300,000 contribution from Robert Mercer, one of the President’s largest donors, to an independent super PAC dedicated to supporting Ward’s candidacy.
