The OHPI poll shows an 11-percentage-point swing toward Ward since its previous poll was conducted in early January, which ran shortly after Ward’s primary opponents declared their intention to run for the Senate. With less than 100 days to go until Arizonans start voting, Ward is enjoying an upward trend in support and her opponents are losing ground as the state’s political landscape takes shape.
“Dr. Kelli Ward is the true conservative in this race and her base of support continues to expand as voters start to examine all of the candidates,” said Ward's chief strategist Eric Beach. “Our grassroots supporters and volunteers are the lifeblood of this campaign and none of this would be possible without their hard work. We see and feel the momentum on the ground – Arizonans are coalescing around Dr. Ward because they believe in her message of border security, lower taxes, free-market health care, smaller government, and top-notch care for our veterans. Voters see in Dr. Ward a thoughtful, conservative U.S. Senator who will go to Washington and work with President Trump to advance the America First agenda on behalf of the people of Arizona.”
